Newsflash:
24.11.02: Updated the webserver today (nice fresh installation of the apache now). The server was down from 11:00 - 15:00 CEST because of problems updating it. HTTPS is now available too.
23.11.02: The tours day today was really cool. Although the visitors were not distributed that well... Too much people came at 12:00, too less at 14:00 and 16:00 and on 18:00 it was OK. Thanks to everyone who came, and shame on everyone who subscribed and didn't come...
21.11.02: Repositioning of the webcam to point to the operators corner.
Unfortunately, SSH on the Cray causes trouble so we have to delay the possibility for public logons :(
08.11.02: Replaced the old server with a new, faster one with FDDI in order to be able to serve the Cray's requests. See this page.
26.10.02: Added a new section of pictures of CDC Cyber Modules.
23.10.02: The Charles Babbage Institute provided us with a very nice picture of Seymour Cray standing next to the core unit of the Cray-1.
This Picture can be seen on the S. Cray memorial page.

19.10.02: The webcam is working again... Although we don't yet have a fine place to put it... Some more webcams will come, too.
12.10.02: On the occasion of the VCF we will operate the entire weekend from Saturday, Oct 26th 12 noon until Monday, Oct28th 7:00 am CET.
12.10.02: Added operator plans for future weekends (finally!)
16.09.02: A photo of every team member has been added to the pages.
10.09.02: SysInfo is implemented - the status of the systems is now shown live (it may take some time until we have all hosts participating)
07.09.02: Webcam Stage 1 gone online - we have 1 webcam online - more to follow.
25.08.02: Improved search engine: If some books are available for download, the search engine shows it and you also have a few more options.
20.08.02: The Search engine for browsing through the documentation is ready now - feel free to use it to browse through the index of our 1100 books.
07.08.02: Homepage is ready for the first users now - start and see it :)
05.08.02: Done much work on the homepage - implemented all the stuff John wrote - only access info, FAQ, and pictures are missing - will do that tomorrow
04.08.02: A big day - TTY management from the login server works now, login via internet onto the Cyber is finally possible
03.08.02: Unfortunately we are missing the Unicos Tapes so we cannot currently install the Cray Y-MP EL. We hope to get them soon so stay tuned.
