The Cray-Cyber.org Webcams
We have some webcams installed in the Cray-Cyber.org computer rooms in order
for you to be able to watch the machines as they are running and as we
work on them.
The pictures are only updated when:
- The light is switched on
- The picture differs from the one previously made (that means when someone
is moving or entering / exiting the room) - checked every 10 seconds.
This page intentionally has no automatic reload function - if you want to see
a more current picture, just click the refresh button of your browser.
Webcam 1:
This webcam is standing on the 400 Hz power distribution cabinet. At the back
of the room, you see some 9-track tape drives for the Cyber, directly at their
right the HEU for the Cyber 860, which is the huge computer filling out the
upper right corner of the picture.
The white rack with the paper on it is the card punch controller, next to it
the card punch itselt, next to that the high-speed card reader.
Additionally, in the middle of the room there are the operator consoles for the
Cybers and behind them the high-speed chain-printer.
